Alphonso Theodore Mosley, son of Robert Lee Mosley and Willie Mae McGriff, was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on February 22, 1949. Alphonso attended Dillard Elementary and Dillard High School. Alphonso was an outgoing man and he was very compassionate towards his family and friends. He was a family man who enjoyed helping others. His favorite hobby was fishing. Alphonso loved the Lord with all his heart. He went home to be with Him on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memories: three children: David, Allison, and Derick; nine siblings: Betty Lou Francis (Glenille), Eddie Lee Mosley, Robert Lee Mosley Jr., Betty Jean Walker (Danny), Mamie L. Shaw (Benjamin), Anthene West, Annie Wright (Cedric), and Ida Mosley; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Although Alphonso is gone on to be with the Lord, his loving memories will forever remain in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.
