Arthur Stephen Lattimore of Oakland Park, Fl husband
of Judith Palmer Lattimore was born June 20, 1956 in St.
Andrews, Jamaica to the parentage of Marcy Lattimore and
Lucille Duffers. He peacefully departed this life on May 7, 2020
Arthur attended Papine Secondary School. He got interested in
playing football at an early age which would become his beloved
passion; that took him to Brazil and several other countries
around the world representing the Jamaican team in the 1970s.
His love and commitment to sports with his, humor and
mannerism got him to Jamaica’s prestigious Priority High School
as their coach! As he embraced the offer, he also loved and
embraced the staff and made many cherished friends until he
migrated to the US in the 1990s.
Coming to America as a Jamaican coach was a big disappointment
stating that he was not qualified, and that cramp his style! Arthur
would then work his way selling records at the music shop which
was another one of his passions.
