Obituary
Barbara Lynn Mack was born on November 23, 1963 to Willie H. Mack and the late Gloria J. Mack in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Barbara was educated by the Broward County School System, where she attended and graduated from Plantation High School. Later, she went on to earn her Medical Assisting Diploma at National School of Technology (NST). In 1997 Barbara gave her life to Christ and frequently attended M.E.C. Ministries of Pompano Beach, Florida. Barbara was employed as a Customer Service Manager at We Haul Industries of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Barbara enjoyed helping others, her doors were always open to those in need. Her most favorite things to do were cooking, singing, dancing, listening to music, shopping, and traveling. Most of all she had a way with making people laugh with her exciting stories and memories of her life’s journey. After receiving Christ, Barbara’s favorite book to read was the Bible; Psalm 23 was one of her favorite chapters. She really knew her Bible and she always believed in the word of God. Barbara enjoyed being a devoted mother and grandmother to her three children: Lakeisha Spencer, Sybrina Coe and Micheal Mack Burks and her five grandsons: Xavier, Elijah, Nathan, Tristan and Cameron whom she leaves behind to hold her memories dear to her heart. Others left to cherish her memories two brothers: Sammy “Bay” Mack, and Michael Mack; one sister: Erica Mack (Allen); her father: Willie H. “Poe Sam” Mack; devoted friend: Richard “Magic” Powell, all of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; favorite cousin: Sherry Jackson of Hinesville, Georgia, best friend: Annette Hunter Williams of Macon, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Barbara will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May your soul rest in eternal peace.
