Cory Ian Lavaughn Brown

Cory Brown was born on September 6, 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he remained a resident until 2015. He passed suddenly on June 23, 2020 in his new hometown, Atlanta, Georgia.  Cory was a dedicated family man and a phenomenal father above all else. He was the glue that kept his family close knit and he stayed in close contact with his friends and extended family on a regular basis.  Cory enjoyed doing hands-on work, dancing, playing games on his X-Box, and family outings with his fiancé and children. He had a contagious smile, cheerful demeanor, and was the resident comedian in our family — there was never a dull moment when he was around. Cory brought so much joy and light into our lives and his abrupt departure leaves a huge void. Cory will be lovingly remembered by his fiancé Octavia and their three precious children Tristan (9), Kirstan (7), and Kylie (7), by his mother Michele, younger sister Hazel, and brother-in-law Fitzroy. Cory will also be forever remembered by his grandparents, his aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, and his dear friends.
