Dorrell Cunningham

Dorrell Elizabeth Cunningham, affectionately known as "Seta", was born on February 18, 1925 in Geddes Town, Saint Mary, Jamaica; to Thomaszina Clarke and Henry Cunningham. She was the 4th child of six siblings; Olive Clarke, Kathleen Foskey, George Powell, Gwendolyn Martin, Carmen Swarsk Miss Cunningham completed her schooling in her native country and was an alumni of Jacks River Primary School. In 1945, Miss Dorrell migrated to Kingston, Jamaica where she later had 3 children: Joy, Horace, and Howard. She began her career with Seprod Limited in 1954 and remained with them for 30 years. Retiring with the company in March of 1985. Miss Cunningham accepted the Lord as a young girl, was a devout Seven Day Adventist, and was baptized in 1976. Following her retirement, she migrated to the United States of America, and began working in the healthcare industry as a nurse's assistant. She lived in Florida along side her sons in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Miss Dorrell was blessed with and survived by 3 children; Joy Johnson, Horace Love, & Howard Love; 10 Grandchildren; Nadine Love, Melicia Love, Simeka Love Hamiilton, Alaina Love, Kellee Love Turner, Tiffany Love, Christopher Love, Christel Love, Grace Love, & Horecia Love; 10 Great Grandchildren: Tatiana Hall, Britney Watson, Faith Cruz, Peyton Hamilton. Aiden Hamilton, Destinee Love-Thompson, Jade Love-Wright, Emily Turner, Phillip Turner, Felicia Love-Vickers, Aniya Love, Jordan Love, & Jeremiah Love; As well as, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Isiah Delaine and Jaylen Isaac Love. Dorrell E. Cunningham was a loving and dedicated grandmother who always put God first. She was a hard worker, good friend, & pray warrior known for her sassiness, loving nature, strength, and love for God. She will be forever in the hearts of all her children, family, and friends.
