Duclos Etienne Obituary

Etienne Duclos, son of Mr. Ciceron Duclos and Ms.Narilia LouisJeune was born on April 4, 1925 in Haiti on the countryside of Loubier. Etienne accepted Christ at the tender of 15. In 1945, he married his soulmate Marie Viergela Saint Jean. During their union Etienne and Marie Viergela had nine kids but only six survived (Eriles Duclos, Jeannette Duclos, Avelie Duclos, Rose Marthe Duclos, Narilia Duclos, and David Duclos) with three preceding him in death. In 1980, Etienne left his native country to establish domicile in the United States. He eventually brought his wife, children and grandchildren to the United States. He opened windows of opportunities to his children and grandchildren and explained to them the importance of following God’s path. As a child of the Almighty God, he seized every opportunity to spread his love to his brothers and sisters, especially the neglected ones. Etienne Duclos was very courageous, affectionate, fair, and devoted man in the eyes of his family, his brothers, and sisters. He was a devoted disciple of the word. His true passion was to spread the word of God to anyone who was willing to listen. One never saw him in disagreement with his wife Marie Viergela Duclos. It was also in this atmosphere that he educated his children and grandchildren in forgiveness. Etienne had his flaws, but he faithfully accomplished his mission on this earth. As the apostle Paul said: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. Now the prize awaits me, the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me, but also for all who eagerly look forward to his resurrection. “ These are people are also affected by his death: His surviving brothers: Seveigne Duclos and Cedernier Duclos Extended Families Saint Jean, Auguste, Noel, Desmangles, Alexis, Lilite, Semexant, Fleurissant, Seals, Rice, Petit-Bois, Senatus, Augustin, Saint Fort, Victor, Noelma, and Frais.
