Ellis Williams Lauderdale Lakes, Florida Obituary

Ellis Williams

Ellis Lamar Williams was affectionately known by many of us as “Lamar”, Big “E”, and his brothers called him “Bean”. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 11, 1972 to the parents of Selena Y. Miller, Edward Leon Williams and was raised by his step father Anthony Miller Sr. At an early age Ellis accepted Christ as his Savior. Lamar attended Broward County Schools and was a Dillard High School “Panther graduate class of 1990”. He had a passion for cooking in which he attended The Art Institutes Culinary Arts program. He was the family Barbeque chef who loved to put something on that grill especially on Sunday. Lamar had relocated to Bolton, Mississippi to assist his stepfather with the Miller & Sons Farm in 1990 in which he learned all about the country living, raising animals and crops. He was employed with Broward County Schools and ILA Local 1526. Ellis leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Paula Williams; parents: Selena & Anthony Miller Sr. and Leon Williams; his three children: Caprisha Foreman, Jackson, MS, Brandy Williams, Ft Lauderdale, FL and Markeithen Williams, Jackson, MS; four stepchildren Sanya, Lakeisha, Romario and Andrico, Manchester, Jamaica; two precious grandchildren: Cazyriah and Ja’kari Foreman, Jackson, MS; four brothers: Whitney Young Ft Lauderdale, FL, Frederick Williams (Kenya), Magee, MS, Anthony Miller Jr. (Kimberla), Ft Lauderdale, FL, Charles Woodall, Oxford, MS; three sisters: Toccara Holmes (Henri), Sunrise, FL, Grecia Bozeman, Miami, FL and Antionette Lott, Ft Lauderdale, FL; three sisters-in-law: Natasha, Kemesha and Jheanell and brothers-in-law: Fabian, Dwight and Tavia; his childhood best friend for over 30 years: Luis Filus; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, but his cousin Keith Judon was his right hand man from working at the ILA and the good food he had at his house.
