Emmanuel Bonaparte

Emmanuel J. Bonaparte was born on August 20, 1932 in Mount Rich, Grenada, West Indies to the late Sonny Bonaparte and Isa Scott.  As a young man, Emmanuel left Grenada and went to Trinidad to find work and better himself. Later he migrated to Canada where he earned his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and PhD degrees. Dr. Bonaparte was passionate about his career in Education and served with distinction in the Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He enjoyed lecturing, reading, and writing. He also had a special love for music and singing. God blessed him with a strong voice which he often used in praise to God for his many blessings. Throughout his life, Emmanuel touched many lives through his ministry in education and music. On April 11, 2016, Emmanuel was called to rest by his heavenly Father leaving his loving and caring wife, Norma, his son, Andrew and his family, sisters, nieces, grandnieces, church family and friends.
