Ernestine Lucas was born June 8, 1934 to the late Robert Lucas, Sr. and Flossie B. Roper Lucas. She was the eldest of fourteen siblings. She was baptized at an early age at St. John’s Baptist Church in Oliver, Georgia. She received her education at Sylvania High School in Screven County, Georgia. She was united in holy matrimony to Calvin German on September 11, 1954. They relocated to Florida where they continued to worship God and remained together for 62 years. She leaves a legacy of love to cherish her memory a devoted Husband, Calvin German; Children - Christine John (David), Carolyn Edwards (Martin), Valarie Watson (Jerome), Marie Linnex (Tavarus), Lynetta Richardson (Michael), Willie Jacobs, Edward Louis (Sekennia) and a loving step-daughter, Etta Williams (Eddie); Siblings that proceeded her in death - Robert Lucas, Jr., Johnnie B. Lucas, Joseph Lucas, Bernese Spence and Arthur Lucas; Surviving Siblings - Isiah Lucas (Annie Lee), Luedell Lucas Curtis, Gary Lucas, Willie Lucas (Marie), Leon Lucas (Veronica), Barbara Lucas (Eddie), Johnny Lee Lucas (Hester), Felecia Brown (Lee); Grandchildren - Terineka (Roger), Elliott Jr., Cody, Jaliyah, Jasmine, Prince, Camera, Shauntay, Daniel, Venda, Keisha and Donwick. A host of great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends of the family.
