Frances Mae Norton was born July 14, 1954 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Agnes Bailey Norton and the late Abraham Norton. Frances better known as Mae attended Larkdale Elementary, Parkway Middle, and Stranahan High Schools. She was employed at Weschler Industries for many years until she was unable to work. Mae received Christ as her personal savior when she was a young adult. The Lord called her home early Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father: Abraham Norton II, brother: Abraham Norton III, sister: Annette Norton, and nieces: Treina Jackson and Cheina Jackson. Frances was a strong independent woman of God. She encouraged other family members to follow Christ. She was a skilled baker and cook. She taught her son everything he knows. She really enjoyed spending quality time with the children in the family. She enjoyed teaching them things and creating memories. Frances will never be forgotten. Frances leaves to mourn her memories her Mother: Agnes Norton; one Son: Duane Anderson; three Grandchildren: DeVonte Anderson, Deondre Anderson, and Shantoria Anderson; her Brother: Ronnie Norton (Jan); Sisters: Michelle Adams (Ernest), Bernadette, Cynda Norton, Cynthia Howard (Hezikiah), Rosalyn Mobley (James), Albertina Jones and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Although Frances had only one child, she was a mother to many. She was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
