Obituary
Harold Hibbert, son of the late Joseph and Junelle Hibbert, was born in Bloxburgh, ST. Andrew on October 25th, 1951; the 6th of 9 children. He received his early education at Bloxburgh Primary School, then went on to complete his secondary education in Kingston, Jamaica. Harold, community known as “Harry and Fat Man” loves adventure and his passion was trucking. He traveled all over Jamaica. During this time, he had short lived relationships and fathered his children, Andrea, Lisa, Robert, Jenisha, and Shanika. He later met and married Geneva, and the union produced four children, Latoya, Jowayne, Sheeka, and Tashandra. In 2006, Harold relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with his family to join his brothers and sister. Shortly after migrating, he became seriously ill and was admitted under Vitas Hospice Care to Harbor Beach Nursing Home then to St. John’s Rehabilitation Center. Harold was a generous, warm, and affectionate man who willingly shared anything he had with anyone who needed it. He had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. On September 6th, 2019, Harold went home to be with his maker. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Geneva; children, grandchildren, brothers, George, Donald, Cecil, & Tony; Sisters, Peggy and Edna; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. May his soul find confort and peace.
