Homer Lewis

Homer Lee Lewis, Jr., son of Homer Lee Lewis, Sr., and Pamela Francis was born on March 7, 1977, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He attended public schools in Broward County and was affectionately known as “JR.” JR loved to fish, play cards, dominoes, cooking at family events, and most of all, spending time with his son, Brandon, whom he absolutely adored. On April 11, 2020, God summoned an angel to escort “JR” home. His absence is a silent grief, and he is now resting peacefully in God’s beautiful garden of sunshine and perfect peace. JR was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Lillian Francis and Pearl Washington; uncle, James Francis; and aunts, Yvonne Miller and Sandra King. Forever in the hearts of his family and friends, he will be greatly missed and cherished by: one son, Brandon Lewis; mother, Pamela Francis of Miramar, FL; father, Homer Lee Lewis, Sr., of Fort Lauderdale; sisters, Tiffany (James) Julmiste of Miramar, FL, Krystal Boyd of Lauderhill, FL; brother, Isiah Lewis of Fort Lauderdale; nephews, Keidran and Kei’vant Francis, Samuel Redding and, Johnathan Julmiste; nieces, Keshya Francis and Semaj Julmiste; grandfather, Willie Lewis Hampton of SC; uncles, Robert Lee Francis, Jr., Jasper, FL, Charles (Easter Mae) Francis of Fort Lauderdale, Ronnie Francis of Lake City, FL, Tyrone Francis of Jasper, FL, Anthony Francis of Jasper, FL; aunts, Lillie Hamadalla Grahamsville of NY, Francine Francis of Fort Lauderdale, Kathy Francis of Fort Lauderdale, Grace Burrows (Darryl) of Fort Lauderdale, and Andrea Lewis Douglas (Willie) of Fort Lauderdale; a special friend, Keisha Alexander of Fort Lauderdale; and many devoted cousins and friends who will deeply miss him.
