Howard Paul Levy Sr was born on June 27, 1954 to the of parents Ita Viola Levy and Audley James Levy in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. Paul was one of 14 children. He had 7 children of his own. Howard Jr, Kevin, Fabian, Tristan, Amanda, Daniel and Aujanae. Paul migrated to the United States in the early 80’s and he lived in Brooklyn New York. He worked hard to pave the way for his first two sons to join him in the United States. While in New York Paul worked tirelessly delivering newspaper before dawn and working his trade. Paul meet his now ex-wife Andrea Jackson, which resulted in five additional children.He then relocated to Florida in 2000. You can tell he loved kids. Fabian, his third child, passed on before him. Paul loved his son and was broken, but kept going for his family. After his divorce, he meet and lived with Ms.Blossom Keaton. Ms.Blossom thank you for being a strong supporter of our dad. Paul was an extraordinary handy man, and musical visionary. Paul knew how to make you smile and had a joyful outlook on life, which made it easy to weather any storm. Hard worker is an understatement, all Paul knew was to provide for his family. His dedication to see our happiness was like no other. He was asthmatic which you think would slow him down but it didn't. He continued to work hard with a purpose because he did not believe in being lazy and carefree. He took pride in everything he put his hands on. He shared this trade with his children, brothers and nephews. When we were not in school, he often took us to work with him. If you were out of work and he had a job to do, you were welcomed with no hesitation. He spent his leisure time playing music in his apartment or at small events to entertain others.DJ Paul created many good vibes at basement parties in New York . These vibes were brought down to Florida, where he made many new friends. Paul was a very humble person. He never bragged or boasted about anything. Wherever he went he was loved and he loved in return. He was the definition of motivation. Many times people turned to Paul for help and NO was never the answer. If he didn't have it then, he made a way to get it for you. If you needed to hear the honest truth, Paul was the person to turn to. Honest, loving, caring, dedicated, humorous; that was Paul. His family was his motivation. Paul is survived by six of his seven children, ten grand-children, nine of his brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews whom he loved dearly. Many, of whom, grew in his arms. He leaves behind many close friends. Paul had a great sense of humor. He had a way of making us laugh until we cried. He would turn a sad situation into one that was humorous. How would Paul want us to treat this moment? I can hear him say, "A suh life go take the good with the bad. Just move on." With that being said, let's use our memories of Paul to get us through this difficult time. Let's laugh at the jokes he made, let's reminisce about the stories he told, let's love one another the way he loved and would want us to each other.
