Ms. Jauleina Johnson was born November 12, 1966 in Albany,
Georgia to the late Helen Banks Newton. Her mom, Ms. Helen
Banks, being a young mother, wanted more for her beautiful
bundle of joy. She then allowed her big sister, Ida Newton,
to raise her from the age of 4 months old. At a young age,
Jauleina moved with her mother to Fort Lauderdale, Florida,
where she was educated in the Broward County School System,
graduating from Boyd Anderson High School, class of 1984.
Jauleina later completed her Associate of Arts degree from the
University of Phoenix in 2013. On January 14, 1999, Jauleina
gave birth to her one and only child, Shemar, and from that
point on, it was them against the world.
Jauleina worked for Broward County for over 30 years as a
Broward County School bus driver, later as a Data Entry
worker with the Supervisor of Elections, and most recently
with the Broward Clerk of Circuit and County Courts.
Jauleina gave her life to the Lord at a young age. She was an
active member of First Baptist Church Piney Grove under the
spiritual leadership of Rev. Dr. Derrick J. Hughes. Jauleina
was an active member of the Adult Usher Ministry and Society
of Mission Circle Dorcas. She was also an active member of
Golden Victor #44 Order of the Eastern Star, State of Florida
& Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliated.
Ms. Jauleina Johnson is preceded in death by her birth mother,
