Jessie George was born on January 2, 1958 to the late parents of Fannie Mae Bodiford and Eddie James George Sr. In his early life he relocated from Arlington, Georgia to the sunshine state of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In 1974 he attended Plantation High School after school he worked in construction with his brother DJ as a laborer. He loved his kids and was a great father and grandfather to his grand kids. He was a friend to everyone, he loved music, and he was a jokester.
Jessie departed this life on Friday April 15, 2016. He leaves to mourn his precious memories, his wife: Brenda Peterson; 3 wonderful kids: Lakeltha (JoJo) Natson, Yaschia (Anthony) Peterson, and Travis George; 8 siblings: Flossie (Theotis) Taylor, Eula (Lloyd) Harrison, Charles George, Gloria George, Jennie (Rowe) George, Lavern (Roger) Chandler, DJ (Tawanna) Johnson, Christanie Steverson of Arlington, GA, and Eddie James George Jr. of Arlington, GA; 3 brothers preceded him in death: Otis Johnson, Frankie James Bodiford, and James (MaryAnn) Harris; 5 grandkids: Bruce (JoJo) Natson, Britney Natson, Bandon Natson, Trinity George, Alexis Johnston; special niece: Jacaria Smith; special friends: Mae Dorothy “Ms. Dot” and Mr. Will; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
