Ke’Arndre J. Twiggs, age 38, entered
into eternity on Sunday, June 28,
2020, at Broward General Hospital
in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was
born March 14, 1982, in Savannah
Georgia, to the union of Michael
Anthony Stone and Jacqueline
Denise Twiggs (both deceased).
He attended the public schools of
Pompano Beach, Florida, at Blanche
Ely High School. He later met the love
of his life, Latasha G. Hankerson of
21 years, and together, they created seven handsome boys.
Growing up, Ke’Arndre loved playing baseball. He was
well known for his skillful moves on the basketball court,
where he got the nickname “Ice Man.” His late mother,
Jacqueline, was also his basketball coach.
Gambling at the Casino was his favorite thing to do, where
his luck to win big never failed. He also had a hidden talent
for singing, which he enjoyed doing in his spare time.
He was a humble guy and very caring. When he talked,
the most funniest things would come out of his mouth.
He cherished the good times with his kids, family, and
many friends in his lifetime. His good spirit will forever
be missed.
In his passing, he leaves to mourn: the love of his life,
Latasha G. Hankerson; seven children, Ke’Arndre J. Twiggs
Jr, Ta’Keevin J. Twiggs, Ta’Shadre J. Twiggs, Ke’drain J.
Twiggs, Ke’yon J. Twiggs, Ta’Shon J. Twiggs, and Ke’ndrick
J. Twiggs; one brother, Maurice D. Treadwell; one sister,
Christal J. Pinkney; three nephews, Maurice D. Treadwell
III, Jayceon A. Crockett, and Jayce A. Crockett; one niece,
Jayona A. Crockett; a host of aunts, uncle’s, and cousins
from the Twiggs, Stone; extended families; and many best
friends, friends, and acquaintances, near and far.
