Kenneth Joseph Noel, May 3rd 1954 – July 28th 2020 Kenneth was born and raised in Trinidad. He attended Sangre Chiquito Presbyterian School, followed by Upper Sangre Grande R.C. School and Dasent High School in Sangre Grande and graduated from Bates Memorial High School. Kenneth migrated to the United States as a young man and was successful in all his undertakings. His innate leadership abilities led to the advancement of his career as an Inspector for New York City Department of Housing. Upon retiring from service as a Building Supervisor for Rochdale Village he relocated to the sunshine state of Florida to reunite with his family. Kenneth was the loving son of Veronica and Grafton Barbour, and nephew of Aunt Alma. Kenneth’s three beloved children-: Kevin, Tekeshia, Kenneth Jr., were all his pride and joy along with their respective mothers-: Arlene, Peggy and Marie. Kenneth’s six grand-children-: Kristopher, Josiah, Ethan, Kamirah, Kaylynn and Isaiah were his treasured gems. Kenneth’s loving sisters, Marlene, Judy, Valerie and cousin, Hollis. His nieces and nephews, Fabian and Anton, Anton, Brenton, Veronica and Aiden, Tiffany and Arya, Shelly-Ann and Nekema, Lu-Ann, Nathaneal and Preston, Keisha, Carlisa, Narissa and Kerwyn. Kenneth’s loving cousins the Bocas, Samuels, Gittens, Springs and many more. His friend Glen Keller and coworkers who were just like family were all blessed to have known him. Kenneth loved reading, laughing and telling jokes, being with his family, and serving his community in diverse ways. Kenneth was a devout spiritual leader of Plumline Spiritual Baptist Church headed by deceased leader, King Shepherd Davidson Callendar and served in collaboration with other noted spiritual leaders, spiritual mothers and members. Kenneth touched the lives of many people with his charisma, jovial sense of humor, upbeat and easygoing personality and maintained this optimism all the way to the end. Kenneth lived an impactful and purpose driven life. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 1 pm at Bell’s Funeral Home and Cremation 3750 North Suite Road 7, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida 33313. Our family thank you for your support and extension of love received during their time of bereavement.
