A TIME TO BE BORN: On July 14, 1959 Levonne affectionately known as “Kool Aid” was born to the proud parents of the late Robert and Johnnie Sunkins in Dania Beach, Florida. A TIME TO BE EDUCATED: Levonne attended Broward County Public school system and in 1978 she graduated from Hollywood Hills High School. A TIME TO KNOW GOD: At a very young age she became a Christian she learned about God's unconditional Love. Levonne attended church as often as her health would allow. A TIME TO WORK: She was employed with American Express where she retired after 16 years of service. After retiring she enjoyed life even more, she never allowed her health issues to hinder her from doing things she loved the most. A TIME TO LAUGH: If Kool Aid was around you could always anticipate on having a good time! She was always the life of any family gathering. Her stories were memorable, her laugh was known throughout the room, and her smile was unforgettable. Precious memories are what we must keep so near and dear to our hearts. A TIME TO LOVE: Although there was no children birthed by her Levonne loved all her nieces, nephews, and cousins as though they were her own. She shared a special bond with each of them. She supported her family to the fullest; she sacrificed a lot of her time with love for them. She will be greatly missed. A TIME TO MOURN: On Monday evening February 15, 2016 surrounded by her family God dispatched his angels to release Levonne from pain & suffering. She was preceded in death by her parents, an uncle, James Cummings, one brother-in-law, Uno Papa. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving brother Robert Sunkins; nine sisters: Maxine Sunkins, Loretta Papa, Jacqueline (Allen) Hall, Linda (Dwight) Witherspoon, Carolyn Walden, Theresa Johnson, Tammy Woods, Kimberly Jackson and Sonya Flowers; two aunts: Betty Ann Summers and Barbara Cummings; nieces: Tangela, Angelica, Alisha, Denisha, and Tonyell; nephews: Ross, Melvin, Travis, Dwight, Derrick, Breon, Deion, Jarius, Bradley, James, and Aaron; 15 loving great-nieces & great-nephews; also a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
