Marie Diometre-Hector

“Journey Down Memory Lane” A Time to Live Marie Jo was born on June 26, 1968, at Justinien Hospital in Cap-Haitian, Haiti, to Lorida Diometre. She came to the United States in 1994, with her husband, Baptiste R. Hector, and two young daughters, Naomi and Fedna. A Time to Learn Marie Jo attended English speaking classes in 1995, while pregnant with her youngest daughter, Chrislene. In the early 2000’s, she began the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program while she worked as a housekeeper for Florida Medical Center. She passed her state exam and began working as a CNA for Florida Medical Center in 2004. A Time to Share Marie Jo was a stern woman, but very caring and often a jokester at the same time. She was always the person people could come to whenever they were in a bad situation or needed advice. She loved to dance and sing her favorite gospel hymns. A Time to Rest Marie Jo became one of God’s angels on Feburary 16, 2020, at 12:06 p.m. A Time to Mourn Marie Jo leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Baptiste Hector; three daughters, Fedna Pierre, Naomi Hector, and Chrislene Hector; two grandchildren, Yaniya Pierre Diometre and Christopher Diometre; her mother, Lorida Diometre; two brothers, Dedonne and Wilner; three maternal uncles, Bathe Diometre, Azema Diometre, and Ocxie Diometre; one maternal aunt, Louiza Diometre; her maternal cousins, Wesley, Eve, Emmaunel, Phillipe, Renaurd, Myrlande, Yusline, Sherline, Sophia, Geneis, Maggie, Melu, Lucita, Samuel, Oslen, Evana, Diuela, Francois, and Marie Jocelyn; her church family at Reconciliation Baptist Church; coworkers from Florida Medical Center; and lifelong friends.
