Regina Ward Lauderdale Lakes, Florida Obituary

Regina Ward

Regina was born on February 8, 1965 in Miami, FL. She was the second eldest of 4 children, born to Henry and Mattie Ward. Regina and her family moved to Ft. Lauderdale in May of 1973. She received her education through the Miami-Dade, and Broward County School System; including Stranahan High School, where she was a graduate of the class of 1983, and then went on to receive her certification in Cosmetology from Wilfred Academy. Regina was always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. She loved to cook, bake, and do Arts & Crafts; but most of all, she was a cheerful giver. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was baptized at the Golden Heights Church of Christ, under the leadership of Dr. W.F. Washington. She later moved her membership to the Deerfield Beach Church of Christ, under the leadership of her Father, Minister Henry L. Ward, where she remained a faithful and active member for as long as her health allowed. On November 24, 2015, the Lord dispatched one of his precious angels to Broward Health Medical Center, and He answered Regina’s call to rest. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: a loving & caring Mother & Father: Henry & Mattie Ward; three brothers: Darrell, Keith (Ethel), and Henry Ward III, all of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 7 Aunts, 2 Great-Aunts, 7 Uncles, 2 Great-Uncles, and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
