Willie Pearl Ingram Lauderdale Lakes, Florida Obituary

Willie Pearl Ingram

Willie Pearl Ingram, affectionately known as “Mama,” age 76, was born January 12, 1944, to the late Robert and Lottie Daniels, in Doerun, Georgia. She transitioned from this life to eternal glory on April 26, 2020, to be with the Lord. As a young girl, her parents relocated to Oakland Park, Florida. She received her education through the Broward County Public Schools. Willie Pearl loved the Lord and was a praying woman who loved her children and grandchildren. Willie Pearl was baptized at an early age and joined New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend L.V. Hobbs. There, she served faithfully on the Usher Board and in various other capacities. During her transition, Willie Pearl joined New Jerusalem Baptist Church, under the guidance of Reverend Daniel C. Poole. At that time, she was a faithful member, soaking up the Word of God from her anointed pastor. Willie Pearl worked as a certified nurse’s aide for many years, providing comfort, care, and support within hospitals and nursing homes. However, a job she once loved came to a halt, so she focused on caring for her seven children. With a passion for children and a desire to give back to her community, she joined Impact Broward as a Foster Grandparent at Park Lakes Elementary School. There, she served until she was no longer able to perform her duties. Willie Pearl leaves behind to cherish her memories: six beautiful daughters, Barbara Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kimberly Williams of Tamarac, FL, Cassandra Ingram of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Teresa Ingram of Tamarac, FL, Aaronette Gresham (Wayman) of Coral Springs, FL, and Heather McPhaul Beaufort (De’Andre) of Chesapeake, VA; one sister, Mary Alice Cooper of Ft. Lauderdale; one brother, Willie “Cutt” Daniels of Doerun, GA; twenty-one grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins; a dearly beloved friend, Emma Bryant; and a host of other friends. She was preceded in death by one beloved son, Robert Lee Ingram, Jr.; two sisters, Beatrice Lane and Ruby Hutson; and four brothers, Kenneth, Willie B., Ulysee, and Leroy Johnson.
