Alfred Dennis Majewski Dec. 28, 1945 to Jan. 08, 2013 Alfred "Dennis" Majewski of Pensacola, FL died suddenly at the age of 67 on Tuesday, Jan. 08, 2013. He was the son of the late Stanley and Corrine Krickman Majewski. Dennis is survived by his wife of 24 years, Charlotte; two brothers, Stan and Terry and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis attended both Catholic and Escambia High School, Pensacola Junior College, University of West Florida and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. After a 20 years career in television management Dennis was appointed Director of Marketing for Economy Marine. After a few years he opened his own advertising agency before beginning a 3rd career in insurance. He retired after 20 years of service as a leading agent in the State of Florida for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Following his retirement he worked briefly for New York Life. Dennis was an avid fisherman, duck hunter, bow hunter and a founding member of both the Mobile and Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club. He assisted in the organization and creation of the first local chapter of Ducks Unlimited. He was an accomplished bill fisherman and was the tournament chairman for Pensacola International Billfish Tournament in 1976. He served many years on the Escambia County Marine Recreation Committee and in earlier years volunteered for Escambia Search and Rescue. He was a member of both Fly Fishers of Northwest Florida and Gulf Coast Fly Fishers. He was a 2X past president of GCFF. He was a devoted member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, a men's devotional group. Dennis loved photography all his life and was intensely proud to be the official church photographer of Christ Episcopal Church for the past 30 years. He was pleased and honored to photograph Episcopal Churches and ordinations in Pensacola, Mobile, and Baldwin County. His talent and generosity here was officially acknowledged recently in a presentation at Christ Episcopal Church and in a National Publication for Brotherhood of St. Andrews. The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church Pensacola, FL. Memorial service will be held at 10:30a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at the church with Father Goldsborough, officiating.
