Allen Rodger Benton, 66 of Pace, FL died on Saturday, April 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Gladys Benton; five brothers, Lonnie, Earnest, Robert, Guy and Baby boy; and sister, Laura Perritt. Mr. Benton is lovingly survived by his wife, Judith Gibbons Benton; four sons, Eddie John, John, Patrick, and Kenny; his special pumpkin, Kimberly; four brothers, Clifton, O'Neal, Kenny and Elton; three sisters, Gail Cordeliro, Joan Streit and Christie Colby. Rodger was a stubborn man who worked hard all of his life to provide for those he loved. He left this world peacefully. Graveside services will be held at 2PM Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Strickland Cemetery, Milton, FL. Family will receive friends at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel from 11AM-1PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Lewis Funeral Home to help with funeral arrangements.
