Ann Locke

Ann (Martin) Locke, 77, of Bagdad passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at her home. Ann was born September 17, 1938, and was a life-long resident of Bagdad; and was a beautician by trade. Ann loved nature and she loved the outdoors, her passion being purple flowers! She loved diet coke, reading, chickens, decorating, strawberries, yard sales and shopping --- but above all else, she loved her family and those she called her friends. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is predeceased by her parents, Hubert Alto Martin and Bertha Lee (Gunter) Martin; and her husband, Charles Locke. She is survived by her son, Gary Locke; granddaughter, Taylor Locke; uncle, James Martin; and a cousin, Jerry Martin. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her very good friends, Linda, Mildred Hatcher, Fran and JC Blocker, and Patricia Campbell. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 p.m., in Bagdad Cemetery, with Elder Wayne Blocker, officiating.
