Bruce “Anthony” Barlow, 41, of Milton, Florida, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to parents Doreen and Bruce Barlow of Milton, Florida, on August 2, 1977. Anthony graduated from Central High School and received his Associates degree from Pensacola Junior College in 1999. He was an Equipment Operator with the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners Road and Bridge Dept. Anthony had a passion for music. He loved to listen to it and he loved to play it. He was able to hear a song once and then pick up his guitar and play it. With his height, how could he not love basketball, but he was our gentle giant. He had a great love for children. Anthony was known for his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hillary and Louise Thompson; and father-in-law, Robert G. “Greg” Evers. Anthony married his high school sweetheart Stephanie Evers Barlow in 2000. He is also survived by his pride and joy, daughter Allison “Alli” Taylor Barlow; parents, Klif and Doreen Kirk; sister, Christie (Trevor) Pearce; brother, Glen Hill; sister, Melody Barlow; brother, Ken Kirk; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Kendal) Wallace; brother-in-law, Robert (Marley) Evers; nieces, Haley, Heidi and Kaidi; nephews, Austyn, Rex and Reece; mother and father-in-law, Tim and Charleen Taylor; and grandparents-in-law, John and Jequita Evers. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Burial will follow services in Coldwater Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the services.
