Obituary
Barbara Lambert Cook, 93, passed away January 15, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 12, 1921, in Atmore, Alabama. She moved to Milton, Florida, in 1956, with her husband, Hiram, and two sons, and built the Santa Rosa Auto Parts store. She was very actively involved in the creation of the Milton Garden Center and served as President. She also served as a state flower show judge and won many gardening awards herself. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Milton. She was was proceeded in death by her parents, Noah Elias and Lula Kate Lambert; brother, Jake Lambert; husband, Hiram J. Cook, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Hiram J. Cook, Jr. and Charles E. Daniels; two daughters-in-law, Bonnie Kearley Cook and Pat Curns Daniels; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Catherine Lambert. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., prior to the service.
