Betty Faye Mathis , 68 of Milton, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Mrs. Mathis was born in Century, Florida and had lived in the North West Florida area for all her life. She is survived by her husband of almost 52 years, James Woodrow Mathis; three children, Anthony "Tony" (Karen) Mathis, Terry Mathis, and Darren (Karen) Mathis; three sisters, Joyce Burke, Judy Yarboraugh, and Carol Gee; and one granddaughter, Morgan Helton. Funeral services will be held at 12:30p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel with Rev. Benny Stokes and Rev. Alan Stewart, officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:30p.m. til time of service. Burial will follow at 3:00p.m. in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, Sardis, Alabama.
