Bonnie Lee (Prindiville) Allenburg, 66, of Burlington, Massachusetts, wife of Vincent Allenburg, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her home in Milton, Florida. Originally from New England, Bonnie graduated from Burlington High School in 1967. She went on to marry her college sweetheart from UMASS and together, they had three sons: Stephen, Jeffery and Jimmy Allenburg. She loved them endlessly; raising them and watching them start families of their own were her life’s true joys. Besides being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Bonnie was a long time employee of the Pensacola News Journal as the office manager for the Milton Office. She was an incredible artist and loved wallpaper, crafts and sparkly things. She had the unique ability to know and love people for who they really were, free of judgment or self-importance. She loved taking care of her family and prided herself on always making their favorite foods, even if it led to infighting over the leftovers. She enjoyed good conversation and cheap wine. She laughed often and loved with her whole heart. Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Lynn Cato; and her parents, Edmund and Yvonne Prindiville. Surviving are her husband, Vincent Allenburg, of Boston, Massachusetts; her sons, Stephen Allenburg of Laredo, Texas and his family, Jeffery Allenburg of Houston, Texas and his family, James Allenburg of Virginia Beach, Virginia and his family; her brother, James Prindiville of Burlington, Massachusetts; and her sister, Melissa St. Pierre of Henderson, North Carolina. She is loved by many and is deeply missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima in Milton, Florida, at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 25, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Fisher House Foundation.
