Brandon Bragg Obituary

"BeeBee" Brandon Lamar Bragg was born October 26, 1988, and left for heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on July 1, 2017. Brandon was a lifelong resident of Pace, Florida. He loved playing youth baseball and riding the tractor with his PawPaw. During his high school years he enjoyed spending time with friends mudding, hunting, and fishing, all things a typical country boy loved. Growing up, his family spent their time outdoors; whether it was going to the beach, working in the pasture with their animals, traveling to Colorado, or camping. Brandon was an avid sports fan and would spend hours watching football and sports documentaries. In his recent years, he and his girlfriend Shelby enjoyed antiquing, junking, going to flea markets and thrift shops. He loved helping his mother in her antique business often refinishing furniture with her. Brandon had a kind heart and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He always looked to help others and to think of them before himself. Brandon is survived by his parents, Lamar and Julie Bragg; brother, Shane Bragg; grandmother Shirley Smith of Pace; grandparents, Bobby and Trina Green of Pensacola; the “Love of his life” Shelby Burkett; uncle, Samuel "Todd" (Charisse) Smith; aunt, Jenny (Mitch) Ashford; uncle, Jimmy (Karen) Bragg; uncle, Jeffrey L. Bragg; uncle, Jerome L. Bragg; uncle, Burt (Tammy)White; aunt, Jacqueline Bragg; Tami (Danny) Kerly; and many cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Wallace Baptist Church (6601 Chumuckla Hwy, Pace, Florida 32571). Visitation with the family will be held 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., prior to the service. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Brandon’s name to a group or charity that “loves animals as much as Brandon did!” Here are a couple of suggestions: https://www.facebook.com/CAREofSantaRosaCountyFL/ https://www.facebook.com/AnimalAlliesFlorida/
