Buford Davis

Buford Edwin Davis, 76, of Milton, Florida, died Friday, July 7, 2016. He was a native of Harold and had resided in the Milton area for many years. Mr. Davis was a U.S. Navy veteran (1961-64) and served with Attack Squadron 56 on board USS Constellation (CV-64). He was preceded in death by his parents Jay and Gladys Davis; two brothers, Ed Jay Davis and Sherwood Davis; and one sister, Dorothy Parker. He is survived by his daughter, Jan Davis of Panama City, Florida; brother, John Davis of South Carolina, and sister, Geneva Jordan on Milton. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016, at Milton Cemetery, with Lewis Funeral Home officiating. The family would like to thank Southern Oaks Nursing Home and Emerald Coast Hospice for the care provided Buford during his final years.
