Burton L Mansfield

Former Arkansas resident, Burton Lambert Mansfield, 85, moved on to be with His Lord February 21, 2020, at his home in Navarre, Florida. A memorial service will be held at his family church in Saline, Arkansas. Mr. Mansfield was born July 9, 1934, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, to Ruby and J. D. Mansfield. Mr. Mansfield served in the United States Army where he learned the trade he practiced for over forty years. In 1981, Mr. Mansfield moved to Navarre from Arkansas with his wife, Frances, where he opened Navarre Equipment Repair. Burt owned and operated Navarre Equipment Repair for many years. He attended Navarre Church of Christ and was an integral part in the building of that church. In 1999 he was awarded “Hero of Santa Rosa County”for his service to the Navarre community. He was an avid fisherman and spent many a day on the waters of the Gulf Coast with his fishing buddies. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances; children, Dana Berry of Navarre, Gary Mansfield of Ashdown, Arkansas, and Sharon Webb of Jonesboro, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to 1980 Prado St., Navarre, FL, 32566. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Emerald Coast Hospice, 240 Beal Pkwy NW C, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. Lewis Funeral Home of Navarre has been entrusted with arrangements.
