Callie Pence, 74, of Milton, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Mrs. Pence was born in Vicco, Kentucky, and had resided in the Milton area since 1994. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Trent and Bertha Wales Trent. Mrs. Pence is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Jimmy Pence, of Milton; two sons, James William Pence of Hazard, Kentucky, and Joseph Edward Pence of Jacksonville, Florida; a daughter, Shirley Ann Pence, of Milton, Florida; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Lloyd (Joyce) Trent of Commerce, Georgia, and Corsie Trent of Vicco, Kentucky. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. Burial will follow in the Barrancas National Cemetery and Lewis Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
