Cathey Berschger

Cathey Berschger, 55, of Navarre, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was born January 29, 1962, in Madison, Tennessee, to parents Karen Puckett and James Kirk. She was the eldest of two children. Cathey has three children, Jeanna Kay Carpenter (34 years), James Ryan Woodall (32 years), and Kelsey Lene Berschger, (27 years). Cathey married Steve Berschger on October 21, 1994, spending nearly 24 loving years together. During her work career, Cathey was an office manager for State Wide Data Corporation, a beloved manager of Navarre Action Bait and Tackle, and a caring Pharmacy Technician at Rx Express Pharmacy in Navarre. Cathey is survived by her husband of 24 years, Steve Berschger; her three kids, Jeanna Kay Carpenter, James Ryan Woodall and Kelsey Lene Berschger; six grandkids, Emily, Sean, Ryan, Daila, Savannah and Gabriel; her mother, Karen Donaldson; brother, Scott Kirk; other family members, many friends and her beloved fur babies. The family extends a special thank you to the staffs at Baptist Gulf Breeze Hospital and Sacred Heart Covenant Care for the loving care given to our beautiful angel. Love Forever and For Always, the Berschger Family. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., prior to the service.
