Charles "Chuck" Dennis Brewer, Sr., 68 of Milton, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Chuck has been a resident of Milton since 1970, a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 25 years as a Chief Petty Officer then retired again 18 years later with L-3 Aerospace Communication. He is preceded in death by his son, Charles Dennis Brewer, Jr. . Chuck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances Brewer; daughter, Kelly Grace (Bill) Hyler; brothers, Floyd (Bev) Brewer and Bill Brewer; sister, Lucinda Brewer Lanier; six grandchildren; Charles Dennis Brewer III; Michael, Billy, Haley, Hillary, and Taylor Hyler; one great grandchild; Brantley "Aidan" Hyler; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held at 10a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Rev. Msgr. Stephen Bosso, officiating. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6-8p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel with Rosary at 7p.m.
