Charles O. Cook, 86, of Azalea Trace, Pensacola, Florida, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019. Charles was born October 5, 1932, in Bagdad, Florida, to Lawrence and Pearl Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sisters, J. Willard Cook, Vera Mae Crawford, and Julia Stokes. Charles is survived by his wife, Gloria; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Milton, in the Bamberg Chapel, with Dr. David Spencer officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., in Barrancas National Cemetery, with Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing. Please meet the family at 1:30 p.m., in the parking lot of Olive Baptist Church Warrington Campus (103 W. Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32507.) We will leave the church parking lot promptly at 1:45 p.m., to travel to the base. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
