Lewis Funeral Chapel 6405 Highway 90 Milton, FL 32570 Elder Frederick Smith, Sr. – Officiating Reverend James Manning, Eulogy Brother Charles Edward Slack “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. God’s timing is PERFECT, even in death we will miss our loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend.” On Wednesday morning, October 16, 2013, Brother Charles Edward Slack answered the call of his heavenly father. Charles Edward Slack was born to the late Robert Slack and Callie Mae Smith on June 27, 1942 in Milton, FL. Preceded in death were his two brothers Herbert Slack and Walker Slack and two sisters Marie Taylor and Ethel Slack. Precious memories remain with those who loved him and the many lives he touched. Survivors include: his devoted sister, Charlie Mae Slack, one aunt: Katie Mae Slack, nieces: Kelly Kirk, Alice Slack, Carolyn (Carl) McCray), Gwen Bivens, Patricia (Ann) Slack, Sandra (Cedric) Dottin, Sharon (Al) Phillips, Wanda Kennedy, Eva Lewis , great nieces: Kasana McClain, Kiara Hudson and Kallie Hudson, Nephews: Robert Slack, Dennis Slack, Michael Slack, Walker Slack, Reggie Slack, Kevin Slack, Kenneth Slack, Patrick Slack, Christopher Taylor, Curtis Slack, Allen Taylor, great nephews: Isaiah Slack, Isaac Slack, Tasean Slack, Javarus Slack. Special and devoted cousins Margaret Slack and Ronnie Lewis, special friend Charles Ragland. A host of cousins, and friends.
