Charles Dexter Stelly
Charles was a native of Louisiana and resided in Milton since 1989. He attended Baker High School in Baker, Louisiana. He was a former employee of Mansfield Coatings. His attention to detail was sought after by all who knew his skills. He was an avid game card player and he loved outdoor barbequing.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Denise Stelly of Pensacola; his daughter Jessica Stelly of Pensacola; mother and stepfather, Ruby (Julian) Jackson of Milton; father and step-mother, Charles (Linda) Stelly of Denham Springs, LA; 3 sisters, Elizabeth (John) Hoyt of Milton, Charlene Stelly of Milton, Lisa (Patrick) Gerald of Denham Springs, LA; Grandmother, Marie Lee of Gonzalez, LA; 3 step-brothers, Tyson Jackson of Boston, MA, Mark Navarre of Gonzalez, LA, Darren Navarre of Denham Springs, LA; 3 step-sisters, Tracie Bates of Murfreesboro, TN, Harilyn Brown of Denham Springs, LA, Christie McCallum of Denham Springs, LA and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be John Hoyt, Brandon Hoyt, Charlie Hoyt, Glenny Pinell, Dustin Pinell and Cody Gerald.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Rev. Rickey Tedder officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon prior to the service. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery. Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
