Charlotte Hostetler

Charlotte E. Martin Hostetler, 76, of Navarre, Florida, formerly of Walkerton, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016. Charlotte was born to late Charles and Mary Elizabeth (Cohee) Martin. She was a retired librarian from Walkerton Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen A Cassady; and infant son, Craig Stephen Cassady; and by two infant grandsons, Blake Martin Holland and Jared Matthew Holland. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 52 years, Norman L Hostetler of Navarre, Florida; a son, Brian (Kathy) Cassady of Walkerton, Indiana; a daughter, Kris Cassady of Warsaw, Indiana; a son, Paul Hostetler of Columbus, Ohio; and a daughter, Barb (Joe) Holland of Navarre, Florida; grandchildren include: Traci (Shawn) Jacobson, Stephanie (Luke) Pinkerton, Briana (Nathan) White, Kaitlin Cassady, Jordan (Megan) Holland, Brooke Holland, Jenna Holland, Ben Holland, Julia Holland, Brock Holland and ten great-grandchildren. Additional Survivors include four siblings, Gloria Ball, of Logansport, Indiana, Shirley Rhodes, of Lewisville, Texas, Charlie (Tish) Martin of Griffin, Georgia, and Don Martin, of Mishawaka, Indiana. Charlotte is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a special family friend, Jill Dains. Memorial services for Charlotte Hostetler will be held at 3:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m., on Friday October 21, 2016, at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Navarre, with Rev. Bill Eddins officiating. A private service for immediate family will follow. A Memorial Service for friends and family will be held at a later time in Northern Indiana. The family would like to acknowledge all of the kind medical staff who has provided care for Charlotte. Additionally, the family would also like to thank the Holly-Navarre Fire Dept. for their assistance they have provided, and the Emergency Medical Services of Navarre. Donations may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice of Pensacola, 1555 North Palafox, Pensacola, FL. 32501; or Navarre Fire Dept, 8618 Esplanade St., Navarre, FL 32566.
