Christine Hogan

Christine Edla “Chris” Havens Hogan passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018. Chris was born in Orange, New Jersey, on June 26, 1961. She grew up in South Florida and graduated from MacArthur High School, where she met her husband to be, Patrick Joesph Hogan. She furthered her education and graduated from Broward Community College in Hollywood, Florida, in 1981 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Patrick and she married in 1982 and as an Air Force family, they lived in Louisiana, South Carolina, Okinawa Japan, and New Mexico, before settling in Navarre, Florida. She is survived by her beloved husband, Patrick; her daughter, Brianna Hogan Temple, and her husband, Chad, and their two daughters, Malin and Ellison; her daughter, Brittany Erland Hogan; her mother, Nancy Lee Havens; her sister, Cynthia Jane Parry, and her husband, James; her brother, Donald Havens; and brother-in-law, Michael Hogan, and his wife, Paula. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the USO of Northwest Florida.
