Obituary
Christopher “Chris” Michael Williams, 31, of Milton, Florida, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016. Chris was from the Milton area. He was a true country boy who loved to fish and spend time with family and friends. Chris was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 17; not able to get it controlled led to kidney failure. Chris had been struggling with these health issues in his last few years but always found time to spend time with his son Trey, who he loved unconditionally. Chris is survived by his son, Trey Williams; parents, Christi and Clarence Powers; three sisters, Tabitha (James) Mccray, Molly (David) Jones, and Wendy Powers; his grandmother, Rozeka Harrison and his Pawpaw, Tommy Heaton; his aunts and uncles, Chris and Gina Gauthier, Terry and Angie Bell, Jamie Heaton, Vastine and Joann Craig, Larry Hall Sr., and Tonya and Rob Land. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Christine Stokes Hall (Memaw), Lillian Powers (Granny), Liz Heaton (Grandma), R.C. and Ethel Williams (Grandma and Pop), Frank Lee Johnston Sr. (Uncle Frankie), and Jackie Powers (Uncle Jackie). Services will be held Monday, August 8, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church in Milton (Allentown). Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., with the service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Dustin Lambert will be officiating. There will be fellowship following the graveside in the fellowship hall. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, directing. The family would like to thank Darlin’s Bar and Grill in Smyrna, TN and the VFW Post 8422 in Smyrna, TN for the fundraisers, prayers, love and support.
