Clarence Eugene "Dick" Campbell

June 26, 1937-December 31, 2015


Dick Campbell passed away peacefully on New Year’s Eve, 2015. He was cared for by his aunt, Christine Campbell Adkinson; and cousins, Al Adkinson, Paul Pridgen and Doug Pridgen.


He was predeceased by his father, James A. Campbell, and mother, Jean Pridgen Campbell.


He is survived by his aunts, Waree Pridgen Lee and Willie Jean Campbell Infinger; his sister Annie Reese Campbell Balkom, her children and their families.


He served honorably in the United States Air Force, assigned to the 665th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron (ADC) in Michigan. After his service, he returned to Pace where he was employed as a long haul truck driver and tugboat crewman. Dick was a longtime resident of Pace and faithfully cared for his parents until their deaths.


Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Chaplain Ed Norris officiating. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the services. There will not be a graveside service.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Covenant Hospice of Milton (6459 Caroline Street, Milton, Florida 32570).
