Curtis “Baldy” Baxley Curtis Baxley, born March 8, 1948, passed away unexpectedly in his home early Friday morning, May 16, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon “Red” and Eloise. He is survived by his best friend and son, Len, as well as, two brothers, Kenneth (Gayle) and Joe (Sandy). An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, his dogs, and most of all, spending time with his son. He served his country as an Army Ranger, Special Forces, in the Vietnam War and was wounded in combat in 1968. He retired from NAS Whiting Field Civil Service. Curtis lived his life in Milton. He was full of life and always had a joke, a smile, or some fish to share with everybody. Funeral arrangements will be at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton on Thursday, May 22. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm. Funeral service will be at 12pm. Burial will follow immediately at Crain Cemetery. Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn’t go to colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks ~Jeff Foxworthy Rest in Peace, Curtis. Gone Fishin’
