Daphne Rowena Lamont, 57, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was born December 11, 1957, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Daphne was a loving wife and mother. She was a faithful member of Avalon Baptist Church and served as the prayer coordinator and missionary. Daphne is survived by her husband, Bradley Lamont; daughter, Tabitha Blaylock; two sons, Frank Lamont and Daniel Lamont; eight grandchildren; brother, Martin Robertson; and four sisters, Pat Snell, Sybil Green, Debra Fisher, and Rena Mesch. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Avalon Baptist Church, Milton, with Rev. Matt Cotten officiating. Visitation will be held 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., prior to the service. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements.
