David Scott Richardson, 68, of Milton, Florida, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019. David was born September 12, 1951, to Clarence and Leona (Mack) Richardson in Milton, Florida. He graduated from Milton High School in 1970. David retired in 2014, after 34 years of service, from Coca Cola Enterprises. He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Milton. He was preceded in death by his son, David Scott Richardson Jr.; both or his parents; brothers, W C (Nadine) Richardson and Vernon Richardson; sisters, Dora Francis (Richardson) Brimble , Jewel Richardson (Joe) Raffaelle, and Carolyn Sue Richardson (LaVon) Wright. David is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ellen Eisinger Richardson, of Milton, Florida; his daughters, Crystal (Lee) Lindsey of Baker, Florida, and Stacey Green of Milton, Florida; his stepsons, Sean (Kim) Guenther, of Clayton, North Carolina, and Kirk (Cassandra) Guenther of Rosenberg, Texas; a brother, Oscar (Carol) Richardson of Fairhope, Alabama; two sisters, Wanda (Alex) Irizarry of Pensacola, Florida, and Betty (Dave) Chase of Richfield Springs, New York; sister-in-law, Mary Richardson and his brother-in-law, Richard Brimble, both of Milton, Florida; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2019, with Pastor Milam, officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., prior to the service. Lewis Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with arrangements. The family wishes to thank the staff of Covenant Hospice of Pensacola, Florida, staff of Fresenius Kidney Care of Milton, Florida, and Santa Rosa Medical Center of Milton, Florida, for the love and care given to their husband, father, and brother during the time of his illness. The family requests memorial donations be made in David's name to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
