Dawn “Dawnie” Debra Kelly Vann, 42, of Milton, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017. Dawnie was born March 16, 1974, in Columbus, Ohio, and lived most of her life in the Milton/Pace area. She was a 1993 graduate of Pace High School. She was a CNAS, having studied nursing at Locklin Vocational School. Dawnie loved the New Orleans Saints and was a die-hard Florida State fan. She loved her cat, Bandit. She is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Lewis Vann, Sr.; and her maternal grandmother, Celia Houdashelt. Dawnie is survived by her mother, Thelma “Tina” Vann; two sisters, Christine (Butch) Cassell of Mississippi, and Kresta Fuqua of Pensacola; five nieces and nephews, Chad Rutherford, Britney Irwin, Megan Widish, Glenn Widish, and Sydney Cassell; and four great-nieces and great-nephews, Kinslee Rutherford, Taylor Rutherford, Ryan Widish, and Raelynn Widish. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel; with burial to follow in Serenity Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., prior to the services.
