Dorothy Lowery

Dorothy "Dot" Louise Lowery, 73, of Pace, Florida, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016. Dot was a native of Santa Rosa County. She retired from the Santa Rosa County School Board as a Bus Driver after 27 years Dot is survived by her husband of 55 years, W.A. Lowery, of Chumuckla, Florida; son Robin (Ronda) Lowery, of Pace, Florida; daughter, Rena' (John) Barnes, of Munson, Florida; two grandchildren, John Barnes Jr. and Chris Horn; two great-grandchildren, Caden and Kierstyn Barnes. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brothers and sister, Barbara Hewitt, Michael (Michele) Lowery, Wayne (Diane) Lowery, John Stoltman, Wayne (Dottie) Pugh and Jimmy Pugh; and special family member, Bertie Hollinhead. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel (4777 West Spencerfield Road, Pace.) Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel, with Rev. Ron Carnley officiating. Burial services will follow services at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing. Active pallbearers will be Bradley Stoltman, Buddy O'Quinn, Jim Rogers, Don Ragland, Chuck Sloan and Terry Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be D.C. Thompson, Harry Bass, Michael Lowery, Ken Hollinhead, Lanita Hollinhead and Lacretia Snell.
