Dorothy Johnson White, 88, of Milton, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017. Mrs. White was born in Coffee County, Alabama, to parents, Emanuel J. and Mattie Mae (Myers) Johnson, on October 4, 1928. She has resided many years in the Milton area. She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Martin White. Mrs. White is survived by her sons, Paul A. Cox, Jessie Dayton Cox, Gary Cox, Leslie White, Lynn White, Byron White, and Jeffery White; numerous grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel. Visitation will be held 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2016, at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
