Obituary
Dorothy Levette Worrell, 93, of Milton passed away on Saturday morning, March 7, 2015. Mrs. Worrell was born on November 28, 1921 in Montgomery, Alabama to Joseph Herman Perdue and Janie Tillery Perdue. She was employed as a seamstress with Vanity Fair for 30 years. She was deeply loved by her family and was a blessing to all who knew her. Mrs. Worrell is preceded in death by her husband, H. L. “Rip” Worrell. She is survived by her six children; Jimmy Worrell, Jane (Ken) Wagner, Alan (Cissy) Worrell, Karen (Danny) Retherford, Debra (Mike) Williams, and Danny (Tracey) Worrell; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Milton with Rev. Don Berry officiating, and Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, directing. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
