Edd Williams, 78, of Pace, Florida, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 14 2012. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on April 30, 1933 to John and Pearl Williams. Edd served his country and retired from the US Air Force, enjoyed fishing the local waters, and was an active member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher of Florida Town Baptist Church. Edd was a tender, devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and wonderful friend to all who knew him. His wife, Dawne; brother, Petro; four children: Cheryl Creel, Karen Nece, Pamela Gooch, and Gregory Williams; grandchildren and great-grand children survive him. His parents, former wife (Jean Williams), four sisters, one brother, and a granddaughter preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. April 22, 2012 at Florida Town Baptist Church, where he spent much of his time worshiping his Lord and having fellowship with his beloved church family.
