Edward Cleveland Smith of Fort Walton Beach FL went to be with the lord October 18, 2014. He was born August 2, 1932 in Milton Florida. Edward was preceded in death by his parents: Jacen A and Jessie Mae Smith. Edward is survived by his wife of 46 years: Geri Smith, Brother: Thomas and wife Patricia Smith, Sisters: Ernestine Reyes, Shirley Benaquis, Sharon and husband William Huss, Children: Patricia Smith Rushing, Cathy Smith Burlison, Edward Smith Jr, Lara Smith Reynolds, Michelle Smith McBride, Grandchildren: Christiane, Edward, Andrew, David, Lina, Matthew, Veronica and Farrah. Edward served in the United States Navy and worked over forty-five years on the Eglin AFB contract retiring as a manger. Edward was unselfish and devoted to family he gave so much of his time to others most of all his grandchildren. His love for his family could not be measured. He will remain in our hearts forever. His family will receive friends on Sunday October26, 2014 at Lewis Funeral Home 6405 Hwy 90 W Milton, FL 32570, 1:00 pm services at 2:00 pm. Burial to Follow.
